Pet Plans - Part III

Pawp does not offer pet insurance plans and does not cover ongoing veterinary expenses related to accidents or illnesses. Pawp has a digital vet service that gives the pet owner a $3k fund that can be used for one life-threatening emergency per year.   

1. Type of Plan: Alternative Reimbursement Plan (ARP).  
2. Annual Limits: $3,000 
3. Reimbursements: N/A.  
4. Deductibles: N/A.  
5. Eligibility: All Pets Ages 8 Wks. & Up Are Eligible to Enroll.  

Coverages:  

• Accidents: (Only life-threatening emergency) 
• Illnesses: (Only life-threatening emergency) 
• Hereditary & Congenital Conditions covered. (Only life-threatening emergency) 
• Chronic conditions covered. (Only life-threatening emergency) 
• Dental issues covered (Only life-threatening emergency).  
• Preventable illnesses not covered. 
• Sick visit exam fees covered (Only life-threatening emergency).  
• Diagnostics, including Radiology & Lab Tests covered (Only life-threatening emergency).  
• Surgery, Emergency Services & Hospitalization covered (Only life-threatening emergency).  
• Specialized Care covered (Only life-threatening emergency).  

Type of Plan: Accident and Illness. Accident Only is also available  

Annual Limit: $2,500, $5,000, $7,500, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000, or unlimited. 

Reimbursements: 70%, 80%, 90% of covered vet bills. 

Deductibles: Annual deductible of $100, $250, $300, $400, $500, $600, $750, or $1,000. 

Eligibility: All Pets Ages 8 Wks. & Up Are Eligible to Enroll. However, for pets nine years or older at the time of enrollment or with a qualifying medical condition only an an accident-only plan is offered. 

Coverages:  

• Use any vet.  
• No illness coverage for dogs enrolled after age 9  
• Hereditary & Congenital Diseases covered or an optional fee. 
• Bilateral conditions are excluded. 
• Hip dysplasia and congenital and hereditary conditions are only available for coverage if you enroll your dog at 2 years old or younger. 
• Sick visit exam fees covered for optional fee.
• Preventable Illnesses covered. Parasite Infections not covered  
• Dental Issues covered. Extractions to permanent broken teeth due to an Accident (Does not cover endodontic or orthodontic dental services such as caps, crowns, crown amputation, fillings, implants or root canals). 
• Chronic conditions covered.  
• Diagnostics, including Radiology & Lab Tests covered. Surgery, Emergency  Services & Hospitalization covered.  
• Specialized Care covered.

3. Reimbursements: 70%, 80% or 90% of covered vet bills. 
4. Deductibles: Annual Deductible with various pricing options. 
5. Eligibility: All Pets Ages 8 weeks and up. May be health restrictions on enrollment.

• Hereditary & Congenital Conditions covered. 
• Chronic Conditions covered. 
• Parasite Infections not covered 
• Preventable diseases covered only if the illness occurs following your  vaccine and preventive care recommendations. 
• Dental Issues covered. (Limited, vet-administered teeth cleaning under general anesthesia is required for pets ages 3+ in the 13 months before service on periodontal disease claim. 
• Sick Visit Exam Fees covered with optional monthly fee. 
• Diagnostics, including Radiology & Lab Tests covered.  
• Surgery, Emergency Services & Hospitalization covered.  
• Specialized Care covered.
